About our Photo Gallerys

Each Photo Gallery Page comes with stories and monents in time.
Book 1 (36 photos) represents a period of recovery. The past was a memory and the return to racing meant a coming back to full circle.
Gary has a family to care for, two super sweet kids, both girls, and they are the most fun to watch grow. So Gary has a obvious responsibility and his racing must be
contained within those limitations. Family first, career as a machinist/programmer second and the racing, maybe third, when family obligations are not so demanding.
Among these photos are his two girls, his latest car, a old street-stock that had been abused. The birth of "second chance" (2C) racing would challenge us all.
Book 2 (36 photos) begins by bringing out the memories of all the racecars Gary built, owned and drove. From the 35 which was an asphalt "pure stock" which became
the 35x on dirt. The 45 Car on asphalt, the 3X (triple "x") Street Stock on dirt and the 35x/2c dirt late model racecars. Gary built several pure/street stock racecars.
We purchased a few pre-owned racecars and brought them back from the dead, but the most successful cars...Gary built those himself.
Pictures in this Gallery include my good friend "GM Pete". Pete passed away from cancer back in 2005. Pet's shop was located on Edie Road in Lincoln Township.
Book 3 (36 photos) these photos represent more Late Model than anything else. These were good times, I was recovering from cancer and my rehab was partial to the race sop.
I try to cover som eof the influential people who helped Gary along the way. But after the cancer I did not have the financial strength to hold out through Gary's learing years.
I know that he was not happy in a late model. Yes he liked the power and the technology, but we did not have the financial support needed to mount any kind of a serious charge.
So the late model ended Gary's racing in 2006.
Pictures here are from the late model seasons. We covered a lot of tracks, but home was Lernerville. That period 2004-2006, we pulled no punches, we raced against the best local
in the tri-state area at tracks like Lernerville, Thunder Valley and Challenger Raceway...God Bless the Lentz Family and Don Martin.
